Gavi gangadhareshwara- One of the finest monolithic rock cut architecture meets astronomy and is bought to life by ancient sculptors. It is so well sculpted that sun's rays would pass through the horns of the stone bull outside the temple and light up the deity inside the cave for one hour between 13th - 16th January every year. And we have captured this intriguing bit of astronomy-architecture-history and myth on a ceramic plate wall hanging.
